Answer #1:

Honestly, idk. I don't want to be big muscle wise. I'd rather be what i've been my whole life, slim and slender.

Answer #2:

Nothing. Instead it just pump your body muscles until you regularly doing the exercises. Other wise it not only make tissues soft and hanging and loose and give ugly look too. It is not at all recommended by the martial arts experts.
Men do it to look muscular so as to attract the girls.

Answer #3:

There are many reasons guys like body building:

It's a sense of accomplishment. They're essentially conquering the human body. The human body doesn't want to get bigger, it wants to stay small and never change. Bodybuilders force the body to adapt on a regular basis.

I believe it is a form of art, well it used to be. It hasn't really been about having beautiful bodies since the early eighties. Back in the early days of bodybuilding men were trying to look like Greek gods. It's a form of art that makes you the canvas. Where a sculptor making an ideal man would see a lacking shoulder muscle, they would slap on some extra clay. A body builder has to work out that body part hard for months, if not years, to build it into proportion. However, bodybuilders these days (pro bodybuilders) are more like freak shows. Natural bodybuilders are more along the lines of the old school guys. They still have proportion and size but aren't freaky big.

They think girls like their muscles. This, I have found the hard way, is generally not true. These days girls are more into the slender guys.

I like it because it is a science. Top bodybuilders know their body better than anyone else. They know what every source of protein, carbohydrate, and fat does to their body. They can tell which time of the day their testosterone levels are at the highest. They know how hard their body can be pushed before it breaks.

I also believe it's because these men are making up for the lack of manliness found in todays society. Men think that "settling it like men" means to go out and have a discussion about their differences. History has shown us that "settling it like men" means you go out and kick each others face in. Whoever wins gets to decide the rules. Bodybuilders are that type of guy.

Lastly, I think that bodybuilders are a little insane. Who in their right mind would put 500 lbs on their back, go all the way down, all the way up, and do it again, and again, maybe 20 times? Bodybuilders have a controlled rage that other people just don't have and can never understand.

Sorry it's so long but it's something I have a passion for.
